Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library works with local organizations that “adopt” areas of service and fund the program. Together, they provide families that sign up with quality, age-appropriate books for children between birth and five years of age with the goal of promoting early childhood literacy. Each month, the child receives a book personally addressed to them – all at no cost to the family. Having the book being addressed to them personally may seem like a small thing, but we cannot tell you how many parents tell us how excited their kids get when the mail comes with something addressed to them directly.
